Ready to Work stipend payments for Bldg. Trades, Resid., Service Class A and Nat’l Bldg. Enclosure JOURNEYPERSONS are scheduled to be distributed November, December 2024 & January 2025 to Local 80 members who have completed all requirements. Stipend check payment is determined by eight (8) hours June 1, 2024 base JOURNEYPERSON wage. DEADLINE FOR 2024 STIPEND REQUIREMENTS IS JANUARY 31, 2025.
2024 Ready to Work stipend requirements:
Current MUST Drug Test – no lapse
Current MUST 18 Safety Modules – no lapse
First Aid certification – classroom training
OSHA 30 – official certification required

One (1) online quiz (7 multiple choice questions) covering the DOL Anti-Harassment training video is required to be completed prior to January 31, 2025 in order to receive your stipend payment.

VERIFYING YOUR TRAINING CREDENTIALS
MUST Current MUST 18 Safety Modules and MUST Drug Test are managed through MUST.
OSHA 30 If you do not see your OSHA 30 credentials on the Ready To Work Status Report, contact the Training Center 586-979-5190. If OSHA 30 was taken outside of these parties, journeymen must present to the Local 80 Training Center your OSHA 30 card, the Outreach Trainer Report (OTR), and the name of the organization that facilitated your OSHA 30 training. Your OTR can be obtained directly from the instructor on your OSHA 30 card or from the organization that facilitated your OSHA 30 training.
FIRST AID Acceptable First Aid training must consist of certified hands-on classroom training through American Red Cross, American Heart Association or National Safety Council. Your First Aid card must be presented to the Local 80 Training Center for approval.
