Established in October 1963, Sheet Metal Workers Local 80 serves six counties in Michigan: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, St. Clair and Sanilac. Our 1600 members are part of the building and construction trades. In shops, sheet metal products are laid out, fabricated, and assembled. In the field, sheet metal products are installed in buildings and on construction projects.
We believe in being on the cutting edge of technology to better serve our customers and our union members. We are committed to keeping up with the advances being made in our industry, using current technologies, methods, and equipment to provide the best possible service.
